Indah Walk Bukit Indah Nusajaya - The Heart Of Iskandar Malaysia
Indah walk simply means "Beautiful Walk", while Bukit Indah means "Beautiful Hills".
Bukit Indah is a mature township located in the heart of Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia, Johor. The township was developed by SP Setia Berhad. Bukit Indah, which was launched in 1997, has a population of over 60,000 with over 10,000 houses.The township is the winner of the Johor State Landscape Award 2001, the National Landscape Competition 2001 and the Best of the Best National Landscape Award 2005. Bukit Indah is fast gaining reputation as the "centre" of the "new" western Johor (Nusajaya) commercial district.
From Singapore, the Causeway Link Bus No. CW3 links Jurong East Bus Interchange, Singapore directly to the Bukit Indah Bus Interchange in the township. The journey takes about an hour including immigration clearances at the Second Link. Other public buses also connect the township to other parts of Johor.
From Tuas Checkpoint via Exit 307C and Exit 308, drivers may reach the township in 20 minutes. From Woodlands Checkpoint, via Skudai Highway and JB Parkway, Exit 308; drivers may reach the township in 25 mins.
The township draws crowds from Singapore as well as neighbouring townships such as Taman Sutera, Tampoi Utama, Nusa Bestari and Tmn Perling, due to the existence of Tesco Hypermarket and AEON Jusco Bukit Indah Regional Shopping Centre which are located in the township.Giant Hypermarket is also located adjacent to the township.
